Profiles of CSOFT’s Linguists, Part 5

CSOFT’s 11 Annual Summit has officially ended! We had the privilege of having a total of 19 amazing translators from all over the world at Rosewood Ballroom in Beijing, where the conference was held. Today we present to you the remaining six CSOFT’s linguists. Their contribution in the art of translation has indeed been invaluable and we want to acknowledge their talent and expertise.

Bertrand Malingrey

One of our CSOFT linguists, located in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Bertrand comes from mixed European origins and hence has a strong attachment to the art of mastering languages. He has been working as a translator for the last 15 years and has recently been awarded the prestigious Huawei Individual Delivery Excellence Award.

Helen Zinni

Another one of our CSOFT’s linguists, Helen is an Italian linguist who specializes in IT and medical texts, as well as translations from English and French into Italian. She has a degree in Foreign Languages and has her own company with in-house translators.

Erling Dugan

Native in Norwegian and English, Erling is an active member of ATA (American Translators Association) & SCATIA (Southern California Area Translators and Interpreters Association). He lived in California for several years but recently relocated back to Norway. He has more than 20 years of experience as editor, proofreader and translator in many diversified fields but has also covered important managerial roles.

Miyoko Shibata

Leader of one of CSOFT’s 4 Japanese teams, Miyoko is dedicated to marketing and IT projects. Based in Fukuoka, South of Japan, she is a music and movie lover and a usual loved guest of CSOFT Summits.

Petri Suila

A Finnish linguist based in Vantaa, Finland, Petri has an educational degree in Nuclear Physics from Helsinki University of Technology, but shifted his focus to translation when living abroad where he worked as a translator and project manager from 1993. Since 2007 he has worked as a Finnish Freelance Translator.

Klaus Hermann

As Chief Representative and Lead German Linguist, Klaus is the head of the German CSOFT office in Dusseldorf. In addition to his executive tasks, Klaus continues to be an active translator within his in-house team. Having over 25 years of experience in the translation industry, Klaus joined CSOFT in 2007, initially co-founding Intecas oHG and then founding his first translation company in the 1980s.
