Sunday, September 25th, members of CSOFT’s Boston Headquarters and visiting members of CSOFT’s global team convened in Back Bay for the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides of Boston walk for breast cancer awareness, carrying forward CSOFT’s annual tradition of walking in support of this important cause.
Those able to answer the call to take part in this fundraising and awareness building event rose early to gather at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Esplanade waterfront, where organizers and supporters were out in force to rally and encourage patients, survivors, and kin to complete the walk, among the countless supporters who turned out for the cause. Following a 5-mile loop that brought us along both banks of the scenic Charles River, attendees from CSOFT included new and seasoned members of our team, for what proved an arduous but enjoyable observation of this tribute to those who have endured, beaten, and succumbed to the illness in search of a cure.
“CSOFT is proud to support the American Cancer Society in its push to cure breast cancer, and it is wonderful to see such a strong turn-out from members of our team. As a company heavily engaged in the health sciences, we are dedicated to doing our part in improving outcomes for patients, and this event is one more opportunity to help in that cause,” said CSOFT CEO Shunee Yee.
As well as the fight against breast cancer, CSOFT this September was honored to continue its support for patient-centric care in the treatment of diabetes, sponsoring and attending A Taste of Ginger, a culinary fundraising event from Harvard University’s Joslin Diabetes Center that was co-chaired by CEO Shunee Yee during this first return to in-person gathering since the start of the pandemic.
As a provider of medical translation and localization solutions for the evolving life sciences industry, CSOFT is proud to help contribute and lead in efforts advancing clinical outcomes and ameliorating disparities in demographic representation across the drug development process, and grateful for the support of all who joined us for this month’s initiatives!
