The Internet of Things promises to enrich our lives by making us more productive, healthy, and informed wherever we are. As the world becomes more connected, what are the implications for language and localization and what does this mean for us? Experts in the localization industry are going to address those questions and more at LocWorld Shanghai 2015, April 14-15.
CSOFT International is proud to sponsor the Opening Reception of the LocWorld Shanghai 2015 event next Monday, April 13th, from 6:30-8:30 pm. During the event, we will also share our unique insights into the Chinese localization and globalization market and the future of translation technology. CSOFT’s CEO Shunee Yee will moderate a session titled “Ali-blah-blah-blah: Speaking the Language of China,” where panelists will share tips for how to communicate more effectively through functional, geographical, and cultural barriers.
“As China becomes more prominent on the world stage, our way of doing business with and in China has to adjust with the times.” Yee said. “I am excited to share some of my experience starting and operating business in China, as well as to hear other industry leaders share their success stories.”
CSOFT’s Executive VP of Global Growth and Operations Will Knight will also speak at a session titled “Daring to Look at the Future Tools of Localization,” and Executive VP of Global Strategy Carl Yao will host a session titled “Blending in the New Blood – Here Comes the Acquisition.”
“Localization World is an invaluable opportunity for industry leaders to network, gain new insight, and renew connections,” Yao said. “We’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
