Today, we are excited to announce the launch of the I Translate, I Transform campaign, an initiative aimed at showing appreciation to translators worldwide and raising awareness about the importance of language. The movement was formally introduced last week at the CSOFT’s 11th Annual Summit in Beijing, China, by our very own President and CEO Shunee Yee.
“The art of translation is breaking barriers among nations, making our world smaller while at the same time broadening our horizons,” said Yee. “It is with their help that companies can seamlessly and confidently enter different markets. They play such an important role in reshaping global businesses and transforming the world, so we want to give them the attention they deserve. Language not only connects us with each other but it’s also a way of life. With more than 6,500 different languages spoken in our world, translators help bridge that gap. I hope the campaign can bring unity to different communities around the world and enable us to discuss and solve challenges related to the localization industry.”
The campaign aims to create a platform where people can voice their support and pride for the art of translation. It also aims to bring unity to different communities around the world and to acknowledge those who appreciate the art of language. Join us as we embark on the language revolution of the 21st century, exploring the unique ways that the translation and transformation of language is shaping our world.
The campaign will run through the end of the year and will include a regular monthly competition, which will be carried out through CSOFT’s I Translate Facebook account. Stay tuned over the next couple of days to see more details about our first competition.
